Critical Mass Cycle Ride
A family-friendly, accessbile, leisurely ride around Leamington town, the cyclists will meet from 11.00 am and leave the Pump Room Gardens around 11.30 am with the aim of taking a circular route finishing back at the Bandstand where there will be refreshments and a debrief.
It is unclear how many cyclists are expected for the ride and how much traffic will be disrupted as a result of the event.
Our aim is to highlight the need for more cycle friendly routes, to bring attention to the severe air quality issues in parts of Leamington, and to promote this clean form of transport.
Route
8.33 km
Children, and those who wish to take it a little easier, can join the ride as it comes back to Regent Street if wanting to do a shorter distance.
You don't have to come with a bike, there will be activity at the Band Stand for the duration, and we will be supporting the ride as it comes back down The Parade.
