As we in the UK should now avoid non-essential travel and contact with others we are suspending our face to face event activities until further notice. This will be for an undetermined period of time and will remain under review in line with national advice. Many of our events have now moved online, so please do visit each event page for links to join in. If you are new to online meetings download the XR 'Rebels' User Guide for Zoom.'
Extinction Rebellion UK – as part of a wider movement – exists to protect life, both now and for future generations. Right now we all need to prioritise public health, follow advice from scientists and doctors, and be mindful of the most vulnerable in our communities.
The corona virus is a *serious health crisis that is deeply concerning to many of us* and we want to know how we can be of service to the needs of our communities.
Now is the time to *come together and demonstrate that we prioritise the health and wellbeing of our families and communities* over the health and wellbeing of this economy and buisness as usual.
We will act on what is necessary to protect that.
XRWD are sharing this which came to us via email - XRWD are not responsible for the content of the questions or the outcome of the project. The wording below is from the website of the University of Sussex page.
